Mission statement

Alista is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing love, safety and care to orphans and children with special needs. Alistastaff havetheexperience, skills, andenergy to assist adoptive families successfully navigate the complex process of intercountryadoption.

Accreditation

Alista is a non-profit association accredited by the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice with license №131/12 of August2013according to the Hague Convention on Protection of Childern and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoptions for the USA, UK, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, and Greece.

Our team

Alistais an interdisciplinary team of experienced professionals dedicated to serving children and families. Our team includes an attorney, a psychologist, an educator, a translator/interpreter, a physician, an administratorand social workers. Our staff members are committed to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards to protect the best interests of any child or family.

We value the social side of adoption, but also have an excellent understanding of the legal aspects of the process. We support families before, during and after adoption in compliance with Bulgarian and the accepting country’s legislation and the Hague Convention.

Our goal is to find loving homes for children in need, and we truly believe in what we do. We actively promote waiting children with special needs.
